EMPOWERING Young People with New Tools for Investigation and Evaluation

13 04 15 Tech 4 Good ChallengeEmpowering Young People with New Tools for Investigation and Evaluation is the title of my latest application for funding.

In theory, it’s ideal, because it’s called Tech for Good and it supports:

  1. early stage investment
  2. social ventures.

Since mine is fundamentally ‘educational’, at any age and stage of learning in life, it would be great!

I always like to cite this quote about Alexander von Humboldt:

“Humboldt had a horror of the single fact, believing that  in order to explore any one thing, one needs to approach it from all sides… Every discovery opens up the imagination further, stimulating more discovery:
it enlarges the sphere of ideas, excites a taste for investigation, while the creation of new instruments of observation increases the intelligence.”

Theodore Zeldin, An Intimate History of Humanity, London 1994
